1031 TAX-DEFERRED EXCHANGE

Esquire Title Services offers astute property owners guidance through the complicated exchange process outlined in section 1031 of the Internal Revenue Code. Through either Stewart Title Company or Chicago Title Insurance Company, a qualified intermediary can be retained prior to closing when owners exchange properties in lieu of selling for cash. As a recognized intermediary, API holds the funds until the acquisition of a "like-kind" property is executed. Every aspect of the exchange is managed in accordance with IRS rules and regulations.
